Vets North - COVID 19 – ALERT LEVEL 3

COVID 19 – LEVEL 3

How Vets North is operating under Level 3 and what you need to know.

As we move from Level 4 to Level 3 there is effectively little change in the way we interact with our clients, however we can offer you all of our usual clinical routine services.

Companion Animal Consults

We are still taking Small/Companion animal bookings, however during Level 3 we can offer you all of our usual clinic routine services. e.g, Microchip, All Vaccinations, Preventative Dental Clean, Spey and Neuter.

-All consultations must be pre-booked. When you arrive at the clinic during Level 3, please wait in your vehicle and call the clinic to advise them of your arrival. Our carparks are now our “waiting rooms”.

-In the first instance, vets will see your animal in the carpark. They will collect your pet from the carpark, perform the examination and report back their findings and treatment plans observing social distancing guidelines.

-If you are sick or have any respiratory signs, such as sore throat, cough, runny nose etc., please let us know at the time of booking and our staff will arrange the safest way for us to examine your pet.

-Please ensure you are wearing a facemask or face covering when interacting with our team.

-Covid tracing app QR codes are placed at the entrance to the clinic – please scan them on your arrival.

Equine and large Animal Consults

The care we provide to our patients in an emergency situation remains unchanged, however we can offer you all of our usual clinical routine services.

Please call us to book any appointments or for advice & concerns. Our phone lines are open as usual during our normal office hours. One of our vets can call you back to offer advise if you are worried.

If you do need to see one of our vets, please look after them. Keep adequate social distancing (2 metres), wear a mask, only one person per animal & please let them know if your health status is unknown.

Medication can be collected from the Clinics by prior arrangement.

And finally please don’t worry, as a profession we always have animals health & welfare at the forefront of our work and will continue to always be here for you and your animals.
