Petra graduated from Unitec in 2021 with a diploma in Veterinary Nursing. She joined the Vets North team in 2017. Petra grew up around many different species of animals and was a keen equestrian for over 10 years.  Petra strives in providing excellent patient care and nursing each patient as if it was her own.

Petra lives locally with her partner Chris. Her animal entourage consists of Fin a Blue Heeler, Olive a SPCA special and Irwin a Ragdoll she hand-reared. In her spare time Petra enjoys camping, 4WDing, weightlifting, reading and spending quality time with her family and friends.
